LAMCE has been working for more than twenty years in the field of research, formulation and development of numerical methods in Computational Mechanics applied to Engineering and Geosciences and in scientific visualization methods.
Its research lines cover the areas of computer graphics, numerical simulation, computational mechanics, hydrodynamic modeling, remote sensing, real-time manipulation of geographic data for environmental preservation projects in oil exploration and production areas, dynamic analysis in offshore engineering, virtual reality, geophysical modeling and high-performance computing.
