The General Coordination establishes, implements and maintains a quality policy that is appropriate to the context of the organization and that supports its strategic direction, provides a structure for the quality objectives, commits to satisfying the applicable requirements and commits to the continuous improvement of the QMS.
LAMCE users are anyone operating on its dependencies: employees, students, service providers and visitors.

Information related to our activities are property of the Laboratory, which must be protected against loss of availability, misuse and improper disclosure. Information also includes intellectual property (inventions, knowhow, trade secrets, technical information, etc.).

Not to use, be under the influence, possess, distribute or sell alcoholic beverages, illicit or non-prescribed drugs, accessories for drug use or misuse legitimate prescription drugs while on laboratory premises or while carrying out activities in service of LAMCE at other locations.
While in service on customer premises, ensure proper conduct and observe the orientations and rules related to health, safety and environmental protection management, as well as any regulations, procedures or codes of conduct.
Not to smoke inside the Laboratory.
To eat only in the pantry.
To always observe the minimum rules for healthy social coexistence, mutual kindness and respect to the human person. No kind of harassment or discrimination is tolerated.
To participate in security training provided by the laboratory.
Each user/employee has the responsibility to collective occupational health and safety, to the environment and to the quality of products and services.
To take the responsibility with the Laboratory for compliance with legal and regulatory provisions, including about the internal procedures of safety and health.
To inform the immediate coordinator or Quality Coordination situations that they consider as safety and health risks for them and others.
To always stop the service when noticing any security irregularities, immediately informing their coordinator/advisor or the Quality Coordinator;
The dress code is informal. Long shorts are allowed. Short shorts are not allowed. In the event of customer visits, less informal clothing may be requested with prior notice.
Students must read, know and fulfill institutional regulations, available to the academic units to which they are associated, as well as be aware of compliance with established deadlines on those regulations and on the academic timetables.
