Petrobras Human Resources Training Program
The Program invests in scholarships for technical and higher education students (undergraduate, master's and doctorate), coordinators and visiting researchers from the Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels sector, as well as improvements in teaching conditions and infrastructure at partner institutions. 2 Funding Agencies

The human resources training is financially supported by funding agencies such as CAPES, CNPQ and FAPERJ, through scholarships and research grants.

1 Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum

LAMCE is a research institution licensed by the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum (ANP) to carry out projects in accordance with the Investment in Research and Development Clause of the National Petroleum Agency's Concession Contracts.

The license is regulated by documents:

... ANP RESOLUTION No. 33/2005 and
ANP TECHNICAL REGULATION No. 5/2005

Defines rules for investments in R&D by concessionaires, and the RT regulates the preparation of the Report on Expenses incurred with investments in R&D.


... ANP RESOLUTION No. 47/2012 and
ANP TECHNICAL REGULATION No. 07/2012

Establishes the criteria for licensing research and development institutions able to participate in projects financed with R&D investment funds.


... LAW NO. 11.540/2007

Provides for the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT).
